The seven Songs


In seven parts, the SIRENES tell, sing or whisper,
and invite you to discover their unique univers, at the same time strange and near.

The Songs I to V tell of moments
in the life of these SIRENES, from the moment they wake,
making their way from the night into a new day,
until the Man, which has come to see them, takes his leave.

The Songs VI and VII offer an interpretation
of the birth of singing and words,
when suffering slowly emerges from vocal silence,
becomes modulated and reaches beyond itself,

and when the presence of the Other invites
and creates the coloured language of words and meanings...
